Kent County Medical Consulting was founded to bridge the gap between clinical training and the moments that matter most — at home, in the nursery, and in the hands of the people who love these babies most.
ABOUT ME
Where I Come From
Marissa has worked in the medical field for more than seven years. She spent six years as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, advancing into a Clinic Director role. In 2021, she returned to school to pursue a degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Combining her experience in both fields, Marissa founded Kent County Medical Consulting to share her knowledge and support new families. She currently serves as the leader of the Respiratory Department at Kent County Memorial Hospital.
Outside of healthcare, Marissa is a classically trained vocalist and serves as the Assistant Music Director at St. Rocco Church in Johnston, Rhode Island. In her free time, she enjoys baking and spending time with her husband and family.
